Engaged Leadership by Darcy Rezac

Engaged leadership is synonymous with positive engagement; being fully engaged with what we do at work and at home and bridging to the broader community to make a contribution.
A positively engaged leader is one that makes a difference to society beyond professional, vocational and personal self-interest.   An engaged leader is one who is fully engaged with those with whom they live, work; but they also routinely bridge silos to the broader community for the greater good.  A positively engaged enterprise is one that has purpose beyond profit and institutionalizes that ethos. A positively engaged leader is one who has purpose beyond paycheque, and is dedicated not only to his/her own enterprise but to the greater good. --Darcy Rezac
